The name All Ohio Youth Football Association (AOYFA) is new in 2011. However, it represents a merger of two of Ohio's oldest and most respected youth football leagues. While new in name, the AOYFA combines a heritage of over 60 years of experience and dedication from the Wadsworth Youth Football League (WYFL) and the Suburban Youth Football League (SYFL). It now represents over 3,000 participants. Long and rich traditions of sportsmanship and participation are the driving force that make the competitive environment for AOYFA teams.
By forming the AOYFL long term benifits to each community will be recognized such as:
- A stable league with a focus on sportsmanship and safety
- Schedules attempting to set like competition so games are competitive
- Football and Cheerleading for ages 7-13
Representative communities are as follows;
Barberton, Black River, Coventry, Cloverleaf, Kenmore, Kent, Medina, Norton, Norwayne, Rittman and Wadsworth. We are please to welcome in a new addition to our league, Strongsville.
